Job Announcement: Mobility Management Navigator
The Southern Oklahoma Development Association ( This full-time position plays an important role in helping residents connect with transportation options that support independence, employment, healthcare access, and other essential needs throughout the ten-county SODA service area. The Mobility Management Navigator helps individuals identify and access available transportation resources. The Navigator will build relationships with transportation providers, health and human service organizations, public agencies, community partners, and residents to improve coordination of transportation services throughout the region. This position is especially focused on helping older adults, individuals with disabilities, low-income residents, and others who may face transportation barriers.

What You’ll Do
- Build partnerships among transit providers, community organizations, and public agencies to improve transportation coordination.
- Help identify and address transportation barriers affecting access to employment and employment-support services, particularly for individuals with disabilities in rural communities.
- Educate residents and organizations about available transportation services and mobility options.
- Conduct community outreach through presentations, meetings, media, social media, and informational materials.
- Help develop innovative transportation solutions such as volunteer driver programs, vehicle sharing, mobility training, transportation vouchers, and coordinated services.
- Participate in the Oklahoma Mobility Managers’ Network and attend appropriate meetings, conferences, and training.
- Work with local and statewide partners to strengthen transportation options throughout Southern Oklahoma.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in planning, public health, public administration, or a related field is preferred, but a high school diploma/GED plus at least three years of relevant experience may also be considered. A combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the position may be substituted.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, be comfortable working independently and with diverse community partners,
- Experience with Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and applicable vehicle insurance and be able to meet the physical and attendance requirements of the position.

What You’ll Do
- Manage daily office operations and administrative functions
- Provide support to leadership and staff
- Coordinate office supplies, vendors, mail, and reception
- Maintain inventories and administrative records
- Assist with budgeting and office expense tracking
- Schedule building maintenance and support special projects
- Help improve office procedures and organizational efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience in office management or administrative support
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong professional ethics
- High school diploma required (college education and/or related experience preferred)
